Friendship is a wonderful feature of life and can be exemplified by many different aspects of others. Since joining Red Bubble I’ve been amazed at the quantity and quality of friendship that can be expressed between its members.
Yet, there is one Red Bubble member who has become a very special friend. Her member name is Santamaria and she’s a fine oil painter artist who lives and works from her home in South Africa. I’m located in Tucson, Arizona a half a world away.
We bubble mail each other at least once a week and I’m constantly surprised and delighted with the levels of friendship we attain through this virtual media of the internet. I do have a challenge though… I really have almost no idea what she looks like. Her oft changed ‘avatars’ are always from her paintings. Once she mentioned she has blond hair.
So I decided to experiment and speculate in Photoshop to create a virtual visual image of my virtual friend. I can only dare do this because of the trust our communications have fostered over time… so I’m not worried about insulting my friend… at worst it’ll be a funny experience and give us another reason to laugh together.
