This oil portrait, like the companion self-portrait I loaded last night, is 24" square and was painted in 1995. It is of a delightful, fantastic, alluring, beautiful, giving, and gifted woman. Unfortunately it is a terrible rendition of her and my experimental efforts to save the painting by adding a visible symbol of her innate ability to ‘see’ into the loving heart of all, does not make it much better.
But, since this woman is who I can attribute so much to, and It’s one of the few images that even comes close to expressing her unique and incredible qualities, I’m loading it. For instance I give her the graceful credit for leading the fearful man in my 1995 self-portrait into who I am today; A confidently silly senior citizen who loves and laughs my way through the days (or daze as the case may be!)
LOL… and this represents that late night episodes into artistic endeavors is not a new phenomena in my life, so here’s another entry for the Night Crawler’s group!
A persona who has apparently lived a relatively long, varied and eclectic life. My Red Bubble portfolios reflect my seeming persona… and IF there’s any veracity to these reflections then some sense of HUMOUR and enjoyment should be PRESENT!

This shows a tremendous amount of talent.Also an artist serving two masters.Then the later yellow lines, seem like you were begging her forgivness .There is a lot going on here. I can’t help but wonder if you did this painting again today how different they would be.Thanks for putting this up.It really hit home Jeff

as to the portrait and her “seeing my inner warmth”… hahaha… I was so desperate at that time that I’d a lit a fire outside on my belly if I’d a thought it’d impress her… but she’s way to astute and I’m way lucky (to have recognized I was ready)
as to the other above message… they’re sent to all of us all the time… AND, it is ALWAYS a TEST… pass it by being kind, fail it by falling for the ploy or worst being cruel… it’s always a choice… and the scorekeeper keeps score by the state of your inner most heart….
