NYC-So I'm sorry; I'm sorry... at a street phone in the Village!

Walking down the street in Greenwich Village it was cold with some stiff breezes blowing. I was headed for a warm restaurant at a fast pace, ducking around the other pedestrians. Then I saw the sign for my sanctuary, and simultaneously heard the words at the top of the sketch in a loud voice in a very typical New Yook accent.
Just before ducking into the doorway I turned and took a mental picture of where and who had spoken those words. There she was, bundled up, high black boots, scarf flying in the wind, phone held away from her ear and mouth as she continued to shout into it. In a great burst of laughter I sat at the first vacant table and scribbled out this sketch. It is one of my all time favorites… the capture of real life!!!
It’s drawn in my Canson sketchbook and like life itself is a grand experiment.
Loading these drawings has kept me up late repeatedly, so I’ve not only qualified as an insomniac, but a devoted addict of RB!
I hope you get even half the LOL I’ve gotten from this over the years. ;-)))))))
