A 36″ × 48″ acrylic painting that stared out as an experiment in applying transference paint colors over different background colors. The finished result ended up a bit of a psychedelic riot of pastel colors and movement… thus happiness!
This work was fairly straight forward to format for a RB card. Took it into Photoshop and sized it correctly. 2014 now sees it on all RB Proucts and lookin GOOD! ;-)))

James, I can feel the joy pulsing out of this painting! I love the colours and the sense of movement. Absolutely wonderful, and worthy of first place in any challenge you care to enter ;-)

oh yes.. great vibes :) wonderful creation!

  • Thanks. After painting it I ended up hanging (with her permission) in my sultry (at that time) teen age daughter’s bedroom. It didn’t seem to make any difference then, but I took the photo of the painting recently when I visited my daughter, husband and two children (grand-kids!) and saw it hanging in their living room. Ah!

I truly love this painting, the colours, the seventies feeling, the happenies that comes out if it, just splendid!

Thanks for the comment… I find your 70’s comment amusing and maybe has some foundation. As my experiment with this painting progressed it became a painting I thought I might be able to hang in my fifteen year old daughter’s room that she’d actually like… you know all pink and cheery etc. (sort of 70ish!). She did like it and still has it today with her family.
