The Susan River flows from the Caribou Wilderness in Lassen County in Northeastern California to Honey Lake approximately 93 miles to the East. This photo was taken along the Bizz Johnson Trail just West of the city limits of Susanville. The river is named after Susan Roop, the daughter of Isaac Roop, one of the founding fathers of Lassen County.
