The town of Wendel is located in Lassen County in Northern California. It was a whistle stop for the Southern Pacific Railway for years. The tracks have recently been removed.

According to a local historian this building was a general store and was later a residence. He also said that this building and the adjacent post office building were moved here from the town of Amedee located a few miles to the South.

OoooOOOooo! A ghost town! Love it. Even the foliage is like the old gold rush ghost towns in the old westerns movies. Congrats!
