Primordial Redwoods - Cape Otway - Victoria by

Planted around 1910 Cape Otway has a small but magnificent stand of Californian Redwood Trees – Through the middle of them runs this stunning creek, it feels incredibly primordial to me.

I agree, this scene looks as though a tyrannosaurus rex is about to run through it.
    Out of this world.

James you really captured something special in his image, I can almost feel and smell the dampness of the forest as I gaze at the picture, the colour and mood is captivating.

My reaction was where is it, and after a goggle search I added it to my must-go-there-list. Great shot!

The redwoods themselves … it’s a little spot worth visiting, though I’m sure some of the USA bubbles could put them to shame !

Hey doesn’t the ground cover look like carpet! There’s an artist who does that, can’t think of her name. Think she exhibited at the MCA last year!
