Here’s a poem I wrote 8 years ago when I visited Mt Buffalo in the summer.
Sittting on the ground, next to the lake
Watching the water so still
One finds it hard to stay awake
As clouds touch the top of the hill
The area is so serene,
And full of tranquillity
Looking at the landscape so green,
One is reminded of its fragility
In summer the weather is usually nice,
In winter there is snow
There is also a lot of ice
And this tranquil place? Mt Buffalo!

such a variety of rock shapes, the movement blurr on the delicate flower contrasts beautifully with the bold permanent rock, giving a perspective in time, as well as space.
