The famous Pier of Whitby along East Yorkshire’s coast. I took this last summer of 2009 and enjoyed my visit there – It was cold even though it was summer. Black and white for contrast reasons, post processing.
Cool when I went it was pure blue sky and very sunny – cold though as it was Dec 2009 – I got my red planet shots of the sign just before you get on this pier. Back in my early rust days :o)

yup, sounds right for Whitby.. ‘cold’. i think i have only ever been once on a warm day.. lol
