Not mine really, the computer’s. It’s a laptop and it is about 5 years old now. The problem I see is that the darn thing is an HP and it seems they are notorious for having the monitor go out. This one did. In order to view anything I have to have an external monitor hooked up. (real portable that way huh?) But now with the memory going out too I hardly think it is worth the extra to repair it. So, I guess I will be off here a lot, if I am lucky it will stay turned on just long enough to do something with the spring photos I hope to get, but I am not holding my breath. In other words folks I’ll see you when I can, just don’t expect it to be very often, Right now this is a glorified telephone. I can talk to my hubby over Google speak, and we can chat away until the computer shuts down. Then I have to wait for it to finally decide to start up again and I can call him back…. it’s goofy!! I am sure the darn thing gets warm, and if you ask it to think much it digs it’s heels in and says “No way am I doing that for you. Adios mama!! ” And it shuts down with no warning! I don’t know it is the memory, but my hubby tells me it is.

So sorry to hear this, Bette. I hope you’ll be able to solve the problem, possibly by investing in a new one if necessary. Jim has just entered the computer age with his own tiny note book. The computer Whizz Kid can turn it on and off!!!!!!!!! LOL.
More important, MUCH more important, is yourself, your health and a full recovery.

(((HUGS))) Thank you Jesika. I think it is a case of an old computer about to kick the bucket. LOL Soon I will have my desktop model, not just this laptop that has problems.

I haven’t left yet, it’s just touch and go. Some days I can stay on for a while, some days I can’t stay on long at all. Oh well…things will be better before too long, just like you are me!!!!
