terror and mountain climbing and such by JAKEB

So I’m trying to climb a mountain. I have spent the last few months drafting and drafting and drafting a collection of short stories. Some based on my nightmares some based on awful things that come into my head without warning and some based on monster sightings and mythology (without forgetting my favourite subject cryptozoology).
All of these stories are horror or thriller and linked to one another.
I have done a fairly good job coming up with themes for the stories. I’ve spent countless hours reading scary stories, scouring books and the internet and backtracking through my notebooks and art diaries for inspiration.
I’m asking my fellow Bubblers to write in the comments what they are most afraid of as I feel I may have missed some things in my research.
All help will be appreciated and should I use your fear as the basis for a story it will be noted.
