Welcome to my collection of images .
I began photography by chance. Off work after surgery I was home bound until I was well enough to work.
A friend suggested Redbubble and to take photos . The only camera I had was a Kodak instamatic . This was very limited to the number of images however I joined redbubble in 2008 .
Taking images of what close to me , pets ,my husband I soon learned to love this wonderful medium and a kind member on here Mike, saw my work and helped me in technique and suggested a different camera . So that year I bought a Panasonic Lumix point and shoot.
I took many macro flowers and since those early days I now see the world around me when I’m shopping , out walking my dogs,having a coffe etc, as a photo oportunity .
My husband and portraits of him, proved to be a great love . Horses in their natural environment is my favourite .
My interest grew quickly , I now use in my gear a Nikon d90, and a Fujifilm X-S1
This is a bridge camera and gives completely different effects to the dslr and point and shoot. Of course the best camera is no good , without a keen eye and awareness .
I use all of them as their individuality lends it’self to many interesting images. I would not get with one camera
I love meeting people , life in general and the joy of living in such a beautiful rural area of Australia .

I hope you enjoy my portfolio , as much as I have in selecting and putting it together.
