Rosie the rescue dog
Rosie the rescue dog belongs to the following groups:
All Pets Great and Small, Domestic and Pedigree Cats, For the Love of Cats , 1 image a day , Mans Best Friend's (Dogs only), Our K9 Friend 1 image a day (Dogs only), Pets Are Us ~ 2 per day and Rescued PetsA true story.
One day my wife was sitting in our living room watching TV, when Rosie came in the room and looked at her intently. She then ran out of the room only to return a short time later acting exactly the same, staring intently at my wife again.
This was repeated several times until my wife got up to see why the dog was so agitated.
Rosie led her into the dining room towards the large window where Basil, one of our cats, was all tangled up in the long curtain.
It seemed that Basil was doing what all cats do and was stretching up and sinking his claws in the curtain (he is very good at this sort of thing).
The only trouble with doing this however, is that he is not very good at getting his claws out again! The result was that the more he tried to unhook himself from the curtain by twisting and squirming, the more he got impossibly stuck and wrapped up!
Rosie, we reckoned, saw all this and got anxious and decided that the cat was in trouble and went for help!
And no, she had NOT been watching Lassie films!
Just thought I would share this.
