Pretty Harley Davidson at Newhaven Sussex.

So I saw this bike just as I was about to drive out of the car park at the end of the harbour.
The owner was a fearsome looking dude complete with a goatee beard and wrap around shades.
I thought what the heck, and being a polite sort of chap, I approached the biker and said “hey fella, could I take a shot of your bike?” He said ok-and then I said- “but can you move out of the way so I can just get the Bike”, oh lordy! why do I say things without thinking first?

But he took in in great spirit and moved aside.
After I had finished I explained that I had once owned a Harley myself and we began to chat about all things bike related.

One conversation led to another and after about a quarter of an hour we were chatting about people and places when he asked if I knew a certain girl from way back.
I said I did remember the girl and although she was not a girlfriend as such, we belonged to the same motorbike club and had travelled all over the country and abroad as a group to rallies and the like.
And I explained that I knew her parents quite well and live in the same area as them.
Well it only turned out that he was marrried to this girl and they have three kids!

As we parted with a firm handshake, we agreed to keep in touch and I promised to send him the pics.

Crikey what a small world it is!
