found framed metal engraving, nail polish, and paper hole-punched out of collected paint swatches

I found this metal engraving in a thrift store and was drawn to the color of the metal and the feeling of antiquity that it gave me. The clouds are painted in my favorite nail polish color. I have this habit of collecting paint swatches whenever I go to a hardware store, so I punched some holes out of the reds I had in stock. I titled it “Whistle Stop” because it reminds me of the Whistle Stop Cafe in the film Fried Green Tomatoes, which is a longtime favorite of mine. I also adore trains.
