My son has Medicaid because he is special needs & there are only a few doctors now who take it & they are around 20 miles away. Imagine when they pass this 829 billion dollar bill. Oh it makes me feel all fuzzy inside because it is over 10 years. Great for my grandchildren . Maybe I should hope i don’t have any. I can’t understand why the government can’t make Insurance Co.’s competitive. The cost of my health care Ins. every month now< I could buy another house. Come 2010 >I could get a new car too with the increase in price.
I know Annie! They COULD do ALL of those things, and we would have as near perfect system, as one country could get, barring the theft and all that! And that is another thing that they could do, is find all the theft that is going on, in Medicare and Medicaid. But who ever takes over these programs are worse thieves than those who run it now! And I KNOW that Dr’s. won’t take Medicaid, NOR will they take Medicare!! Unless you have a GAP insurance which we pay for, and it takes up the slack that Medicare does not pay. But I am GLAD to pay for it, as we have access to anything, and everything, the way it’s set up now. But yes, we PAY for it, and we are by NO sense of the word, RICH!! Lower middle class is a better term if you want to define it in terms of $. I have a friend, who has cared for her daughter who has been in a comma for 15 yrs. They keep her at home, and a home nurse comes about once a week, to check certain things, That is ALL the help they get. But they refuse to let her die!! As they are PRO life!! They do NOT know what caused her to just “collapse”, and go into a comma, and never regained conciseness again, when she was in her mid 20’s. They helped raise their grand daughter, as her husband divorced her, when this happened to her. But now, I wonder WHAT will happen to this family? Under the new so called- HELLth care. But Annie, we all have lives that will be effected by this. And there will be HELL to pay! Not by us, but by the Almighty!! He is righteous and just, and I would not want to be in their shoes! We can bare anything, as long as we hold on to Him. Remember the early church? We ain’t seen nothin like they did!! So, gird up your loins, (nice phrase), and put on the whole armour of the Lord! Remember Gideon. Remember Moses, Remember the disciples. This is for a reason. XOXO
Wanda, that is exactly what I keep praying! It won’t be “health care”, but HELLth care!! Prayers, and what ever else we can do to stop it, do it! I have done ALL I can do, so now it’s up to the Lord. But He has big hands, and is our “healer”. Draw closer to Him, and we can, like the early church, get through this! XOXO
It is sad for so many reasons BB. Because it’s not really ABOUT our health, but about control. Now, the Gov. can take away ANY care you might get, if you don’t do exactly as they say! The MORE they control, the MORE control of US, they have!! And lately, more and more of our freedom has been taken away. I do NOT understand HOW any Congressman, who has a conscience, can let this go through, with out doing “SOMETHING”, to stop it, as it shreds the Constitution!!! It is insane!!! I heard one Constitutionalist, say, that the Pres, can have as many Czars as he wants, as long as they have no power!!! But as you see, they are the ones who are doing the WORK! Putting together the “Bills”. And we pay their salary. 35 of them now, and each make a triple digit salary! Never did I think I would see a day like this! NEVER! I have to keep thinking of Prov. 3:5&6; Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways, trust in Him, and He will direct your path, or way! We sure need that direction, so we have to trust in Him! That is the ONLY truth I KNOW! XOXO
