This Lilac was protected by it’s heart shaped leaves. There is an old hymn, “Rock of ages, cleft for me, let me hide my self in thee”. Our lives are hidden in Christ, where NO one can touch us! Safe! For eternity…. Can you fathom that wonderful news? He did it all for us, so we are safe in Him… no matter what! Hallelujah, what a Savior!!

    I do too Jennifer, and that was exactly what I was thinking, when I wrote the little introduction. There are NO words, to describe the God we love and serve! But the fact that He loved us “first”, and expected nothing in return, but for us to love Him, and believe in Him, back, is so unlike all the other beliefs in the world! That is what is SO awesome!
