I photographed this image in my bedroom, on the carpet with rose petals strewn about. I no longer have a studio and this has inspired me to be more willing to shoot in natural light, in sun light. I liked the way the afternoon sun was filling up my room and took creative advantage :).
MORE ABOUT THIS IMAGE:
This image has to do with the prisons i put myself in everyday as well as the prisons i allow others to put me in… Prisons can be tricky to see as they can appear so deceptively beautiful from the outside… over time they can become strangely comfortable and familiar. You may not know you are in one, until one day, you try to move in a different direction and realize, you’re confined.

Stunning portrait with such mesmerizing light. Gorgeous colours. Happy 2012 beautiful Jaeda.
Always so happy to hear from you, enchanting Anthea! Autumn is one of my favorite seasons here in Seattle, Washington, the leaves turn into a myriad of warming hues so i was happy i had rose petals in those warmer hues. I wish you a Happy New Year’s, too rich with peace, love, passion and creative fulfillment :). XOXO

It was interesting to read the description on how this was created….and it is a stunning outcome.
And I concur that there is always more to a ‘beautiful story’.
Thank you, KarenSue. In your own work you do an amazing job of unraveling the everyday magic, the extraordinary moments that too often get overlooked, you appreciate and celebrate their splendor. Thank you so much for spending some time in my world and for your thoughtful comment, i concur!

stunningly beautiful you are Jaeda…how come you no longer have a studio?
very creative angle with the clear glass coffee table♥ xo
Thank you my fellow Goddess of creation! My studio was old, i built it over ten years ago, after several apartment floods, the wood foundation got yucky so when they did the remodel i had to take it down and decided it was time to let it go. Someday i will build a new one and it will be better than ever! :) Much love and light to you, sweet muse. XOXO
