ABOUT THIS IMAGE
The Avian Dream on my shoulder is the newest member of my family :). My beautiful Birdie Boy. He literally flew into my life on a summery Seattle afternoon back in 2010, when i had left my balcony windows open. My attempts to relocate him failed as he kept finding his way back to me, determined to stay. Fortunately, the vet gave him a clean bill of health. I adore this little guy, he has my heart. He brightens my world. I am so thankful to have this little lovie in my life.
He has a strong personality and makes me laugh everyday. He loves to perch on me and always wants to be as close to me as he can get. He also loves balancing on one foot. He has introduced me to the wonderful world of birds.
The sky featured in this image was taken one enchanted evening as the sun was setting, on my balcony. I loved the gold and blue hues, grabbed my camera and snapped away as the beautifully ominous clouds slowly stretched out before me.
