The Fever is a self-portrait taken from photographic artist, Jaeda DeWalt’s, My Feverish Delirium series and is a part of the DeWalt Gallery collection.
About this series
From the ethers of my feverish delirium… I was sick for weeks with a virus that turned into a secondary upper-respiratory infection. I wasn’t able to do much but so desperately wanted to create something new. So i grabbed my camera, climbed into bed and photographed My Feverish Delirium series. This is the second image in the series. After seeing how this SP turned out, i realized that agony and ecstasy look very similar on camera.

Thank you, Lacey! Honestly, it was a miserable shoot! LOL But i pushed through and got it done. Probably won’t get through all of the images today. But this one jumped out at me first :). The rest are kind of weird looking.

love it… that it implies rather than shows makes it more than it is, taking the viewer not only out of frame but leaves them with their mind’s own thinking. Hot!
