Went for a 10 miles walk in the English lake district national park in Cumbria, NW England on Saturday 22nd January 2011 with My wife Donna and my son James and a load of great friends, including friends Andrew and Sharon and friends and bubblers: Shaun Whiteman his friend Simon and his new dog Ben Gary Kenyon and his wife Pam
We set off from the Elterwater car park in overcast conditions but as we headed up Lingmoor Fell the clouds cleared and the views were magnificent. This shot was taken at the start of the walk looking across the River Brathay. We finished the day off with a pint of real ale in the Brittania Inn at Elterwater village Shot with a Nikon D300 and Sigma 18-200mm os lens
