My View Of Elterwater by

Last Tuesday I went on a shoot, up in the English lake district national park with Good friends and bubblers Shaun Whiteman and Gary Kenyon.
Started off at Blea tarn, then headed off on our walk to Elterwater and up to Lingmoor fell.
This is my one and only shot of Elterwater with the Langdales in the distance. Shaun had got to the lakes edge first, took the great shots and then threw lots of bread in the lake for the ducks (Only kidding LOL) which ruined all the reflections, I was so … how shall we put it… not very pleased with our feathered friends and no amount of persuasion would make them go away LOL….Pleased at least that shaun got the lakeside shots with great reflections. Has Gary said, the early bird gets the worm or reflections and those that are last get the ducks LOL…
You may be able to see the ducks rolling in now in the shot..
BTW, contrary to popular belief, I didn’t moan all day about it, just mentioned it once or twice, that’s all .honest….LOL
Hope you like this one anyway..
Shot with a Nikon D300 and Nikon 18-70mm lens

  • LOL, you know the real acts of persuasion, don’t you? LOL, Still didn’t get rid of them, they just thought they were heavy bits of bread LOL…
