Sold as a greeting card September 2009 Hope you like it, I was very pleased with how close this little fella came up and let me take pictures of it, it didn’t seem at all bothered, I was no more than a couple of feet away from it..I actually shot this Robin In Yorkshire at the Ingleton waterfalls trail. Nikon D70s lens 70-300mm focal length 300mm f5.6 1/500 sec exposure time..
stunning mate – I know I was a few feet away from one the other day at High Force he was sat on a branch – the only thing was another branch was blocking his view – but they seem so tame – great shot
Hi Steve, I was at Thornton force at Ingleton in Yorkshire when this fella arrived.. We get them in our back garden but usually they are gone as soon as you step outside which is why I was so surprised at how fearless he/she seemed at this location, appreciate the great comments Steve…
Such a beautiful shot! Great you could get so close! Wondering…….. did you pay your model with a bit of grain? lol!
LOL, Well actually didn’t need to, there was another photographer that was taking some shots too, he had just eaten and was being fed by his crusts, he flew of eventually after finding a worm, glad you like it my friend.
