Just an update as to the plan of the RB meet on 25/11/2010
a) meet at Hawes 8am – 8.30ish
b) Drive 3 miles (sharing cars) to Currack Falls…400 metre flat walk from the road
c) Pop into Askrigg for some rural country village shots….great church here
d) Drive along the Dale to Aysgarth Falls….great set of three falls (we need off road parking here as not paying the car parking fees)
e) Drive to Hardraw….stopping for lunch at the local pub and then walking to Hardraw Force (100 foot waterfall in a single drop)
f) Drive over the Dale from Wensleydale to Swaledale stopping at strategic places for landscape shots
g) Next stop will be Wainwath Falls
h) Into Keld for some village images…..the landscapes around here 2nd to none.
i) Walk from Keld upstream to a wonderful waterfall – Hogarths Leap….
j) then downstream to East Gill Force one of the prettiest falls of the day
k) for the more adventurous a further walk downstream to Kisdon Force (1 mile from Keld)
l) and finally head down Swaledale for the falls at Gunnerside and if time permits Crackpot.
Wellies and boots are strongly recommended…..for anyone taking in the whole day…..the drive around the Dales will probably be no more than 15-20miles and the total walk is probably 4 miles in total with only (k) being up and downhill

nice one mate….think Jamie and Alex are coming, Trevor Kersley too although he wont be doing too much walking…dunno how Richard (clickinhistory) will make it without wheels unless he can get to Scotch Corner then come with us…unless Trevor can arrange something with him
