LOL, This is the continuation, was about to tell you about my trek I did yesterday ealier on LOL, then the good lady Donna got me washing the morning dishes and the Kebab dishes that we had for our tea as got in at 2100, must have got sidetracked, then was off to church LOL, so didn’t get to tell you anything . good to keep you all in suspense though LOL….
Anyway, went walking yesterday in the English lake district, no idea what walk we were going on as out friends organised it parked up at the new dungeon ghyll national trust car park in the great langdale valley, and then went up and up and up to Bow fell, at 900 metres high or nearly 3000ft high was a hard long slog up and then all the way down, which is what usually happens when you get to the top LOL, that was the hard bit..going down, anyway the walk lasted 7 1/2 hrs and was around 8 miles long, it felt longer believe me and my right leg was very sore, got some good shots of the views I think and will share with you my walk when I get round to processing them.
I think we’ll pick the walk next time LOL.
Thanks for the patience.

Good idea, you have to remember you are not a mountain goat, just a RBer with a camera round your neck haha. Look forward to the shots.

Look forward to the shots …
Bet you are sorry you have to carry all that photographic gear when you are climbing these hills. A point and shoot can fit in your pocket (hehehe).
Jason Connolly in reply to SharonD’s comment, 2 months ago
You could say that LOL, got about 400 shots, but many HDR ones, so not really 400 if you know what I mean..
Thanks, I’ll be as quick as I can.

LOL, you’re right thought there, a decent compact would be great like the Canon G9, I’ve got me eyes set on that one for things like this and you can shoot in RAW too.
Thanks mate.

You do the hard work – we sit back and enjoy the pics!!! C’mon, where are they?!!!!
Lois Romer, 2 months ago
speaking of mountain goats, I could do with one of those. The heat in Borneo is not good for carring a camera backpack and tripod around. 7 1/2 is a long walk, even I wont attempt that far.
Jason Connolly in reply to Catherine Veal’s comment, 2 months ago
Hi Catherine, LOL, my legs still aching today, 2 days later LOL, not got round to processing yet, won’t be long now..
Jason Connolly in reply to Irene Burdell’s comment, 2 months ago
