Now as to ‘Brigadoon’... it’s a silly musical (I’m not a fan of musical theatre) of vastly romantic proportions. For a real take on the ‘Brigadoon’ mythology, see the ‘I Love Lucy’ episode in which Lucy searches for her MacGillicuddy ancestors in the Highlands, has a dream in which she is to become the sacrifice in an ages’ old ritual in her Scottish ancestral town, & in which Fred & Ethel play the fearsome two-headed dragon. Now THAT is a vision of Brigadoon. Och, aye. This vision of Loch Lomond, however, is unimpeachable.

  • Jason Connolly replied

Sheila, thanks for your words, i enjoyed reading what you say, thansk.
