Lantys Tarn, Patterdale

This is a small tarn or puddle by the looks of this one, shot on the way up to Helvellyn in the English lake district national park Cumbria.
Shot with a Nikon D300 and 18-70mm lens.
This is a one shot Raw file converted to 6 tiff files in photoshop raw converter, and then opened up in Photomatix HDR software converted to a HDRI and then tonemapped to get more detail out of shadow and highlight area, further processing done in Photoshop.

    LOL, yep, In today at 1600 and finish at 0135, it never ends LOL.

    Thanks ever so much Noelene…it is a beautiful place, I have to go back when there is more water at the tarn..Don’t know where it goes, it’s not as if we are short of rain here LOL..
