Just noticed this photo in this is England group challenge and thought wow. I just love robins, and had one or many meet me at nearly each gate when walking round the lakes near beatrix potters town, just wonderful birds. So a absolutley wonderful capture well done.

Of the many robin shots I’ve seen on RB, & the majority are excellent, this is my favorite to date. Kudos!

They are such wonderfully inquisitive & friendly creatures – a few years ago, we were in a wee tearoom in Drumbeg on the west coast of Sutherland, & one of these fellows flew in through the open door from the garden. He sat first on the back of my husband’s chair, then flew down to his plate! My camera was in the car….
