soooooo sweeeeet!!!!! Adorable little fluff balls!!! my grandmother had a farm and every spring how I would look forward to visiting with her AND her little chickies!!!!!!!

They are gorgeous, but ,sadly, we have to remind ourselves of another aspect related to chickens. Near here, is a rearing unit for raising “broilers”. The little chicks are delivered and join thousands of others in a huge shed. Six weeks later the fattened birds -minus those that have died – are taken away to be killed and sold as cheap food. The whole process, although legal, seems cruel and degrading. I always buy FREE RANGE CHICKENS from the local butcher. Sorry to break the pattern of “aint they sweet.!!! Shirley

LOVEeeeeeeeeem….......these precious ones….....i have some cracking out at this very moment…....we raise chickens…...and wow you should see the beautiful roosters i get by mixing breeds…....awesome….....its like painting in real life with life…....fun fun…the LORD does the work and the mastery artworks….....they come out heavenly….big and strong and colorful…..kiss these ones on the nose….or should i say beaks…....lol

Oh, how precious this is. Perfect for Easter and Springtime. I used to have chickens and the baby chicks were always a cause for celebration and children young and old would love to come and watch the chickens. Whenever my Dad would come to visit, that was the first thing he would do after he arrived, was to walk out to the chicken yard and visit with “the girls” and their rather rude “husband.” Baby chicks were always a delight and this wonderful image brings back the memory of sweet times years ago.
