Winnowing The Rice in Nepal

In a square in the mediaeval centre of Bhaktapur, Nepal, we came across huge piles of rice spread out in the sun to dry. The women were turning it over or, like this woman, lifting and pouring it so that the chaff is blown away. I think it’s called winnowing!
