Mr and Mrs Mallard

This isn’t as nice as my other mallard photo entitled Quackers but the expression on the male’s face of “whatever are you doing dear?” makes me smile

These ducks are highly prized by hunters here in the states, but their numbers are dwindling. As the same goes for so many game animals through out the world.I retired from hunting years ago.I done my share of killing, but thats all behind me now,Thank God.:)

I’m not keen on hunting unless it’s people who need to catch food. So-called hunting for sport doesn’t seem to me to give the hunted anything like a sporting chance. And I don’t like duck to eat anyway! That’s me off my high horse now!

Oh my,have you ever had duck and dressing, much better than turkey.Of course it’s an annual tradition here in the states. It never dawned on me whether you all had a Thanksgiving holiday or not.Oh well,I don’t like hamburger and it’s more popular than sex, here in the states.Stay safe,my friend. :)

This is a beautiful capture. I love the clarity of the details such as the rocks beneath the water. Wonderful work.

No, never had, but every time I’ve had duck it’s been too underdone for my taste. We don’t do Thanksgiving this side of the sea. Now I’m confused: is it duck or hamburger that’s more popular than sex? and how do you know? lol
