All of these fractals are exquisite! Wish I knew how to do such things – just amazingly beautiful!!!!!

  • Thank you so very much for the lovely compliment. They do take time and patience sometimes, like any other art form. I actually run a group called “Apophysis Tutorial Fun Group” where we help members learn how to use the free fractal software called Apophysis by posting tutorials for them to try. Swing by and check it out. If you ever want to try it, you can download the software in the group, and play along! :D

I’m totally enthralled with the beauty of fractals but am running into a BIG problem. I use a MacBook and all programs seem to be PC oriented unless you pay big bucks. Even MacMall doesn’t have any programs. Anyone having info on a reasonably priced, decent program – please let me know!

  • G’Morning! Well, I got this info from the Ultra Fractal website. This is an awesome fractal software and not very expensive. Here is what it says…. Ultra Fractal will take advantage of multicore and multiprocessor systems where possible. You can also run Ultra Fractal on a Mac with VMware Fusion, Parallels, Boot Camp or Virtual PC (PowerPC only), or on Linux with WMware or WINE. You can read more at Maybe this is a way! :D
