wrote this beautiful poem ;
Hiding
Closing hard, pushing into me
smaller, smaller, smaller
this space to feel and to be
Too much, this pain
too little, my gain
I want out, I want space
to undo this stone cold place
that I find myself in
Can I touch my will to be free?
the wings that I see within me?
Look up, look down
barely breathing,
could the sun on my skin be too late?
In this box I wait…..

Once again you make us aware of the elsewhere, the longed-for…. you delight in balancing the viewer on a knife’s edge of suspense. Or at least I think it is delight. I sense you wearing the sort of dead-pan of someone who presents us with a lady, jester, and tiger – each behind its door. And I feel you inwardly giggling as we reach for the knob which hides the car.
