The East Quoddy Head lighthouse, with its distinctive Cross of St. George, was established in 1829 and is one of the oldest lights on the Bay of Fundy, It is located on New Brunswick, Canada’s Campobello Island a short distance from Lubec, Maine.
Nothing short of fabulous!
One of my favorites of my lighthouse photos…glad to see it featured..thanks, Monica. Appreciated.
Congratulations Jack. East Quoddy is a lighthouse that I’ve seen many times when I lived in southwest New Brunswick however I’ve never gotten as close to it as you have.

Lovely lighting and beautiful capture! I only made it to the place where you could walk across, but the tide was too high so I had to settle for a partial shot.
Thanks, Mary…that high tide is a real photo op killer…I do appreciate your comment.
Beautifully composed, Jack. I love lighthouses, too, and this one sure is a beauty. Brings back great memories of the years I lived in Maine.
