Artist's Description

The Harmer Railroad bridge crossed the Muskingum River and connects the historic Harmer Village with Marietta, Ohio. (FYI: The bridge, which was built in 1856, turns by hand to allow for the passage of large riverboats. After being retired from railroad use, it was converted into a scenic walkway across the river.)
