I spent the first 44 years of my life in the UK, doing the usual stuff: being educated, married, 2 children, struggling to make ends meet, 70 hour per week job but only allowed to enter 49 on my work sheet, writing whenever I could, sketching on paper tablecloths, wages spent usually before it arrives —normal, everyday occurances.
Moved to Spain 4 years ago and… not much has changed, still struggling to make ends meet, the hours have changed, though. I’m now down to 45. The rest is virtually the same.
And I still retain a sense of humour. Amazing!

I would like to give a special ‘thank you’ to Lianne, Dana Yoachum, Naylor and mixeddelite, for your kind words of encouragement; you can’t imagine how chuffed I feel now.
Constructive critisism is always welcome, please don’t be scared.
