HDR Hand Held, three bursts bracketing, I did this three times in hopes I would get one of the three segments to align. Best to use tripod.

Camera Canon 5D Mark II, Canon Lens 24-70 mm f/2.8L USM, exposure @ aperture priority set at f 2.8, shutter speed at 1/1250, 1/2500, 1/5000

1st step …. Open Raw photos in RAW & make some minor adjustments. Half the time I work in LighRoom 2 which has a plugin for Photomatix.
2nd step …. Open all 3 in Photomatics & make adjustment according to my liking
Step 3 ….. Open tone mapped photo in Photoshop CS4 to make final adjustments. I should redo this one to minimize the ghosting at the rooftops.
