S P I R I T
~When I was child….
I stood on the same dock
breathing in the same air
feeling the same glorious spirit
calling me, guiding me
setting my insides on fire
seeding a passion for the tremendous beauty of this life
bursting from my veins.
And now here she is
and there she goes
her journey begins……..
Alone with her thoughts
embracing the energy of such sacred ground.
Not sure of what it is stirring within her…..
But knowing
it is powerful.
Not knowing
it will carry her thru her life.
I watch her, watch me.
And I think to myself….
what does she see?
Is it the beautiful me
or the tormented me?
So full of wisdom
so beyond her years
a soul that is soaring
toward a life
I know all too well.
Oh baby…
some people will never care
but you always will…
For her enormous compassion is not of this world.
She has this connection
with all those around her
as she draws them in
and casts her spell.
My beautiful girl…….mine for just a time.
Those sweet voices are calling her…I remember.
She has found her wings
her journey has begun……....
It will be beyond all she can imagine……...
I want to tell her to hold on tight,
but I know
this is her dance, her path, her amazing,
amazing
life.
Fly baby girl.
Soar high above it all….

Really feel something in this image.Very simple composition but speaks powerfully. Think it would be great if all parents could appreciate the power of their kid’s spiritual gifts and then give them freedom to grow. So many parents and people in general seem to want to possess and protect those they love the most.
