coffee, java, marshmellow, mocha, izzybeth, blue, tea, lips, heart

Ever since the beginning of memory, I drew, painted, and crafted. As a child, above our family couch was a painting of lush woods and trail leading to a cottage house. I followed the trail with my mind’s eye and invented a family that lived in the cottage. Sometimes I would ”sit“ under a painted tree and imagine the world of the painting. My orientation shifted, I was no longer sitting on the couch, I was under the artfully rendered tree. This was the beginning of a love affair with art.

Love the beautiful atmosphere and vintage feel. It could be a very good advertising for a coffee shop, so tasteful!

  • Thank you Woodie. I grew up near a strange spot called the Java Jive. The exterior of the place looked like a giant coffee pot. It was a very weird dive some of the locals used to frequent. Once a week, Maestro Bobby Flloyd entertained the with his incredible organ music. I really did not appreciate his music then, but now sometimes I hear Flloyd on the classical music station. He could play anything you requested… A movie called “Love You to Death,” featured the interior of the restaurant.
