Please explain to me how this is sepia? I want to see more of her, to see her expression, to see how she was lovingly carved.
izzybeth replied
The day I took the photos was such a rainy day I was afraid I was going to get my friend’s camera all soggy, and so did not take as many images of Lillien as I wanted. There are a couple other photographers on the bubble who have taken gorgeous photos of her. I will try to link them here too. OK?
izzybeth replied
Mybluenothing has captured her.
izzybeth
Hi Bernadette, Here is another image I have of Lillien less faded. I will try to find my link to the tutorial for sepia effects and send it to you.
izzybeth
Michael Byerley has photographed her too.
UnEasy
Stunning. Exquisite in its restraint. Intensely moving.
izzybeth replied
Thank you, I need to go back to the site to look at the history of the little one… Michael mentioned, there was a period of time when survivors had the stones made literally from casts of the deceased… makes me wonder.
Mariska
Sensitive, beautiful work Izzy!!
izzybeth replied
Mariska, thank you so very much.
