Leica I by

The Leica I (as knows as “model A”) of 1928 was the first commercially successful 35 mm camera. Without it, the millions of other 35mm cameras would not have followed (at least not in their present form). The ‘hockey stick’ lens lock is a distinguishing characteristic of the Model I. Also characteristic of the early models is the ‘mushroom’ shutter release button.
