Very pretty reflection! The tops of the lower level clouds are reflecting back on the upper level clouds and are burning them away.

Oh you are right! I knew I liked the ‘strokes’ coming out of the thunderhead, but I didn’t know what they were.

You can’t go wrong by pointing at a painted sky. With the storms that we have had rolling through the area, I have seen several views that I wish I had my camera to try to capture but the sky is just too big of a canvas. Way to catch a beautiful shot.
