After a long day of photographing birds I was about to pack it in. The sun hung low in the sky and the light was fading fast, when I caught a glimpse of several deer on the edge of the woods. I was blessed to capture a few frames.
I wanted a painterly effect, so I worked with several filters and adjusted them as I worked. This was the result.
