A Tree Swallow perched peacefully on an old fence post is approached by another. They appear to argue momentarily before taking off in flight together.

Camera, Canon 7D
Lens, Canon EF 100-400 L IS USM lens.
Tripod, Manfrotto, including 498RC2 Ballhead
Taken at 1/800’s at f/7.1, + 1/3 EV, at 400mm, iso 500, man white bal.
Edited in Lghtroom4 and PS CS2. No cropping, but added a slight amount of canvas to top of photo to balance the composition and lend a little more room above flying swallow.
Slightly sharpened in Lab mode, lightness channel, unsharp mask ( amount 52, radius 1.5, threshold 3).
