School of Mackerel - Spanish Invasion by

This is a school of Spanish Mackerel on Cream Unryu Paper. Impressed in black Sumi E ink and painted in blue, green, silver, grey, and yellow acrylic pearlescent paint. The original print is 24" X 36" with a clean, not deckled, edge. The original is available by contacting me at the link above.

‘Making impressions, one fish at a time.’

I give special attention to the exquisite anatomy of the different fish species and to the details that make each fish unique. The red stamp is called a Hanko and is a Japanese character ( kanji) symbol for water, which I created myself with a blank rubber stamp.
