Alexandros Isaias was born in Cyprus in 1975. At the age of 16 he started to explore photography using an old Zenit camera to capture the world around him. It wasn’t until his early 20’s during a visit to an exhibition by Lillian Bassman in New York that he realised that photography was what he wanted to dedicate himself to.
Over the years he gained many influences from trips to the US, Europe and South East Asia and a reflection of his experiences can be seen in his work.
He studied film and photography in Athens and later on in London and New York.
He loves traveling and experiencing the world through the lens of his camera; each of his trips is an opportunity to experience, to capture moments and to rediscover photography.
Alexandros works commercially for the theatre and music industries, advertising, and TV.
