I am a passionate advocate of animal rights and all the proceeds of my work will be donated to my animal charities. I am in graduate school in Psychology with a focus on Geriatrics. I am working on my thesis and commit any time that I have available to animal rescue and have fostered many dogs before finding them their “forever homes.” I also am active in causes that preserve and protect our environment and wildlife. I work at an animal sanctuary in San Diego devoted to domestic animals that have been neglected, abused and abandoned. Our goal is to promote legislation to stop the cruelty of puppy mills, vivisection, kill shelters and experimentation on animals for cosmetics and other products. Animal research in labs MUST be stopped and people need to be fined or imprisioned with the same penalties as adults who commit physical, sexual abuse and neglect of children. I have been so busy that I have not had time to add to my gallery, but soon I will upload my photographs, some a collaboration with Michael, my fiance who works as a doctor at children’s hospital on the Oncology Ward using innovative treatments for children with cancer. They affectionally called him Freckles. I have many stories to share about my life and look forward to joining this multi-talented group of artists, writers and poets. I am writing a book about three of the patients I treated titled, Blinker, Stinker and Thinker that I hope to share with you. When possible, I enjoy photographing humorous subjects to put a smile on your face.
