My name is Amanda, and I’m a 17-year-old high school student from the state of Rhode Island in the U.S. My hobbies include writing stories and poetry, reading, cooking, traveling, listening to music, and photography.
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, and I was introduced to it from an early age. My grandfather was a photographer for the U.S. army, and during Vietnam and Korea, he basically hung out of army helicopters taking photographs. Pretty cool, right? I myself didn’t start taking photographs until a couple of years ago, when I got my first digital camera. After that, I was pretty much hooked, and now I try to go out and take photos as much as I can. Most of my photographs can be found in my gallery on DeviantArt.
