Lost Ship

Lost Ship

I wish I could have done this on location, but there was no place to be found.
I wish I could find this wave but no wave to be found.
I wish I were this ship but this ship does not exist.
I thought and thought and this is what I found.
This ship travels over the ocean wide.
Travelling miles and miles it finds beautiful sunsets, rolling waves and rocks on seashores.
This ship is still travelling the rolling seas where life is just a dream.

Beautiful artwork, Irene, gloriously executed, the imagery and colour are wonderful, The waves which are threatening to beach the ship onto the rocks, marvellous. hugs

Thanks to all for your lovely comments. Today I am trying to get at my paintings again, summer is so busy. Just got back from a fishing trip. Got two fish but was more interested in the scenery around me. My camera was more important to me than the fishing rod.
