The Artists
Chad Miller – Born January 31, 1969, the youngest of three children, I was conceived under extremely unusual circumstances. Prior to my birth, my mother underwent a partial hysterectomy; my father…a full vasectomy. I was born breech & turned in my mother’s womb to enter this world, and I’ve been a survivor since. Today I stand at an incredible 5’ 4” tall and weigh in at a whopping 110 lbs. soaking wet. My purpose here,I’m convinced, is one of a Divine nature. Upon graduating Marshall University (Huntington, West Virginia) in 1993 with a B.B.A. in Marketing, I spent most of my post-graduate career climbing the corporate ladder in marketing and retail management. After years of soul searching and participating in the perverbial “rat race”, I finally had my epiphany moment. Art, photography, music and self-expression are where my true talents and heart lie. Inspired by the world around me, I strive to create meaningful pieces of art, photography, and creative design for others to experience and enjoy. Ultimately, I wish to inspire a deep passion and strength in others to think, feel, love and challenge themselves and their environment to move in a positive direction and overcome great obstacles. My Creator has instilled in my soul a deep and personal strength which I communicate through the artistic medium. A more powerful medium through which to communicate I cannot imagine.
Gary Stewart – born October 25, 1962 the youngest of ten children, my earliest inspiration came in the form of the most loving parents imaginable. Although my biological aunt and uncle by marriage, I couldn’t imagine the path my life would have taken without them as surrogate parents. After graduating Dupont High School in 1980, my journey into manhood began with my enlistment into the West Virginia Air National Guard and enrollment in the West Virginia Institute of Technology where I earned a BS in accounting. Accounting … what was I thinking?! Art is and will always be, my passion! So, 45 years later, I’m finally doing what He intended. Let’s see where it takes me as my parents watch over from above! Now that you’ve enjoyed a glimpse into our separate lives, please share our union of faith and inspiration. Visit us again soon because there’s soooo much more to come! The StudioIn Your Space Studio represents an exciting and fresh artistic collaboration in digital photography & multi-media (oil and acrylic painting, video production). We share a vision of creating decidedly dramatic works of art that are both inspiring and provocative whose ultimate purpose is to create “outside of the cube” – to see all things in a new perspective…up close and “In Your Space”. Through our partnership, we hope to convey the beauty inherent in all that surrounds us while creating value for the serious art collector. Committed to supporting local charitable causes, In Your Space Studio donates 10% of ALL sales proceeds to the local Charleston (West Virginia) Aids Network (CAN).
